樊和平，笔名樊浩。男，1959年9月生，江苏省泰兴市人。
教育部长江学者特聘教授；江苏省中青年首席科学家；东南大学特聘教授，博士生导师。
现任东南大学人文学院院长，东南大学人文社会科学学部主任，东南大学学术委员会副主任，东南大学党委委员，东南大学校务委员会委员。

6、学术概述：
1992年被破格晋升为伦理学教授，成为当时全国最年轻的哲学伦理学教授。1999年率领团队获得伦理学博士学位授予点，使东南大学成为全国第三个伦理学二级学科博士点。2000年在全国伦理学界第一个获得教育部优秀青年教师教学科研奖；2007年在全国伦理学界第一批成为教育部长江学者特聘教授。
在《中国社会科学》、《哲学研究》等海内外学术刊物上独立发表学术论文发两百多篇，其中《中国社会科学》7篇，出版个人独立专著11部，作为带头人合著多部。获国家、教育部、江苏省省政府哲学社会科学优秀学术成果一等奖4项，二等奖5项，三等奖多项，其中获教育部二等奖2项，三等奖1项。主持完成国家和省部级重大、重点、一般规划项目20多项，其中作为首席专家主持国家重大招标项目击2项。
学术研究主要分四个阶段：
第一阶段是上个世纪八十年代中期和九十年代，主要努力是进行关于中国伦理的道德哲学诠释，代表性专著“中国伦理精神三部曲”——《中国伦理的精神》（1990、1995，22万字）；《中国伦理精神的历史建构》（1992、1995，38万字）；《中国伦理精神的现代建构》（1997，60万字）。
第二阶段是九十年代末至2006年，主要努力是进行关于道德哲学与伦理体系建构的方法论研究，代表性专著有：《伦理精神的价值生态》（2001、2007，42万字），《道德形而上学体系的精神哲学基础》（2006，57万字）。
第三阶段是2007年至2010年，主要进行关于当代中国伦理道德状况的调查与研究，代表作《中国伦理道德报告》（2010，98万字）、《中国大众意识形态报告》（2010，105万字）。
第四阶段，今后相当一段时期，研究的重点是伦理道德的精神哲学体系和现代伦理学理论形态研究。着力进行的努力有三方面。第一，以中西主经典为着力点，在精神哲学的意义上打通中西方道德哲学；第二，关于伦理道德的精神哲学理论和精神哲学体系的研究；第三，关于现代伦理学理论形态的研究。
