　　China University of Political Science and Law, established in 1952, is located in Beijing. The university, directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education is characterized by its law programs and covers programs of literature, history, philosophy, economics, management, education and other multidisciplinary studies. It is a national key university and is known as the "cradle of political and law talents". The predecessor of the university is a coalition which included the Department of Law of Peking University; Department of Political Science, Tsinghua University; Department of Political Science, Yenching University; Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science and Sociology Department of Fu Jen Catholic University. In 1960, it was established by the State Council as a national key university. It reopened in 1979 for the country to resume enrollment.
