　　大嘴为何第一句文法错误"He don't"，第二句文法正确"He plays"

　　教育程度低，草根性高的人，通常不用"does"和"doesn't"，哈利波特里的海格也是这样

　　接下来，我们注意时态：

　　"I saw Dr. Shirley play the piano tonight. He don't play like a colored guy."

　　大嘴说他今晚看博士弹钢琴，I saw..., 用过去式

　　他弹得跟一般黑人不太一样，He don't..., 用现在式

　　大嘴时光错乱还是文法错乱？

　　首先，英语母语人士不会犯时态错误，因为时态表达的是心里的感觉：

　　过去式，表达客观事实，有确定的时间，通常会加上时间，大嘴加上"tonight"

　　过去的事情用现在式表达，表达的是情绪，好像就发生在眼前，讲八卦的时候最常出现，可以参考"宠物当家"，现在、过去、完成式的变化，几只动物都是讲同一件事

　　#1G: 演奏会主持人介绍薛立博士，说他有三个博士学位(doctorate)，怎么说？have three doctorates? 主持人用"hold"，比较高大上一点：

　　C1: He holds doctorates in psychology, in music and in the liturgical arts.

　　#2G: 表演结束，博士找不到大嘴，原来大嘴蹲在地上跟一群黑人赌博，大嘴连胜，喊："Hard Ten! Lady's friend."，Hard Ten是两个五，"Lady's friend"呢？有点不雅，请参阅教材内容。博士找到大嘴，很不高兴，说了这句电影经典名言：
