教育部发布今年第一号留学预警 赴美留学要注意！（双语）

　　徐永吉说，2018年以来，美国以“反间谍”(counterespionage /,ka?nt?r'espj?nɑ/

　　)为由，吊销或重新审查中方赴美人员的签证，从自然科学向社会科学扩散。

　　Since last year, the US has revoked or reexamined the visas of some Chinese

　　citizens under the pretext of "counterespionage", which has spread from the

　　natural science sector to the social sciences.

　　近期美方还取消了一批中方从事中美关系研究的学者十年签证。

　　"These actions have hurt the dignity of Chinese students in the United

　　States, and also seriously hurt the feelings of the Chinese people," said Xu

　　Yongji, an official with the ministry.

　　徐永吉说，上述种种行为已经对中国在美留学人员的尊严伤害，也严重伤害了中国人民的感情。

　　美签新政：要提供社交媒体账号

　　日前，美国国务院以加强安全审查为由，已经开始要求绝大部分美国签证申请人提交个人社交媒体账号信息。

　　这一新规已于5月31日执行，记者登录美国签证申请网页发现，填写申请表的一个环节要求填写过去5年在20个社交网页上使用过的个人账号。

　　根据签证申请页面，申请者需要提交在豆瓣、脸书、拼趣网、QQ空间、新浪微博、腾讯微博、推特、优酷等社交媒体上的个人账号。

　　据《纽约时报》报道：

　　about social media accounts they have used in the past five years under a State

　　Friday.根据5月31日起实施的一项美国国务院新政，美国签证申请人需要提交过去五年内使用的社交媒体账号的信息。

　　Such account information would give the government access to photos,

　　locations, dates of birth, dates of milestones and other personal data commonly

　　shared on social media.

　　美国政府将通过这类账号信息看到你在社交媒体上分享的照片、地址、生日、重要日期和其他个人信息。

　　中国驻美国大使馆也证实了美方签证新规，提醒赴美中国公民在申请签证时遵守相关法律，如实填写赴美目的，如实提供申请材料，抵美后不从事与签证类别不符的活动。

　　当地媒体援引一名美国国务院官员的话说，美国时刻寻找加强对签证申请者审查的方法。

　　该官员表示，申请者可以填写自己不使用社交媒体，但如果撒谎将面临“严重的后果”。

　　nonimmigrant visas.

　　The department estimated it would affect 710,000 immigrant visa applicants

　　and 14 million nonimmigrant visa applicants, including those who want to come to
