　　剧情简要

　　《卡特教练》是根据真人真事改编的一部体育励志片，讲述了一位高中篮球教练带领自己的校队拼搏的故事。卡特执教后使一支屡战屡败的篮球队最后成为无人能敌的长胜将军。

　　1999年，卡特以球队队员在校成绩太差为由，将先前已经13场不败的球队队员全部罚到了板凳上，直到所有队员都签署了一份保证自己必须在球场上和课堂内同样努力并同样出色的合同，卡特才让他们上场比赛。

　　在卡特看来，赢得比赛固然重要，但保证队员的文化课成绩，为他们确定一个选择更为充分的未来同样重要，作为一名高中篮球队员，需要的不仅仅是技术、毅力、纪律和团队精神，还应该取得足够的学分。卡特想用自身的经历与经验告诉队员们：是学校的教育塑造并指引自己走上了正确的人生之路，而不仅仅是篮球比赛。
